Long time no post, but I swear I have a good excuse. No, really.
Please meet Vivian Bliss, who made her appearance a few weeks early on Friday, June 29 at 10:43 a.m. At only 34 weeks, she was already 6 lbs, 2 oz.
After 9 days in the NICU, Vivian is finally home, and she's doing great. Her parents are a little worse for wear, but she's worth it. She is everything we have ever wanted. We'll always keep her big sister Eliza in our hearts, but now we can hold Vivian with our arms. And that's pretty wonderful.

Sara:
I tried to find an email address so this wasn't posted in your blog. It's kind of a personal message so if you want to delete it after reading you can.
Obviously yesterday Mel linked me to your site to share the wonderful news of Vivian's birth. Once I got here, I started reading a lot of the old posts as you're a great writer and it was very interesting to catch up to what you've been doing.
I just wanted to tell you how amazing I think you are after what I've read. Your strength, courage, and positive attitude in the face of a terrible loss has led you to this happy event.
I cannot imagine how hard it would be to lose a child. A couple years ago I lost a puppy, which couldn't have even been half as hard, and wasn't sure I wanted to get another one. You are so brave to go through pregnancy again so soon and I admire that. In the past I have seen women who had lost children become very bitter and while I can't blame them, I was just so impressed by how positive you were in your posts. You & Rich are very lucky to have one another as it is obvious how much support you give one another.
I suppose this letter is kind of cheesy, but I like to tell people how much they mean and you are just so amazing. Congratulations again on Vivian - she is so lucky to have such a wonderful mommy!
